Lancaster Festival Artwalk 2013

The past three days were spent outside painting with pastel chalk on pavement. A few of my friends and I participated in Lancaster Festival's street painting event. I painting my lucky fortune cookie dragon.

Actually, he's not terribly lucky since the rain washed him away yesterday.
Here's some snapshots of my friends' work in progress.

I also had a small exhibit at the downtown AdamH building for the ArtWalk. It was a delight talking to art appreciators and other artists as well as admiring their displayed work.

Head for the Hills!

I've been practicing perspective and environments lately. I quickly sketched an area outside of our local community action center in graphite.

This week I visited Hocking Hills for a brief vacation and took the opportunity to quickly paint some watercolor landscapes.
