Summer Sketchbook #3

Third week update! Starting off with several "cutesy" Godzilla/Kaiju sketches after seeing the recent Godzilla film in theaters!

Also, I made a tribute to my favorite actor Jack McBrayer for his birthday on May 27th!

I did animal and gesture practice in watercolors for my drawing warmups.

...And finally some miscellaneous doodles to conclude the update!

Summer Sketchbook #1

First post of summer break! Starting the update off with several watercolors from last semester.

I started a new sketchbook for the summer. Hopefully I'll fill it up before break ends!

Weekly Update #4

A week and a half to go before the end of spring semester! Here's what I've been working on lately.

Expressive environments of a swamp and downtown Columbus in watercolors.

Watercolor sketches of brownie (the household elf kind, not the Girl Scout or dessert) and water sprite character and co. for my Gwinny project, plus a size comparison character line-up.

Finally some fake Pokemon I designed based on 12th century bestiary creatures, such as the Amphisbaena, the Cockatrice and the Manticore.

Weekly Update #3 - NeverEnding Story and more Gwinny

Starting the update off with a book cover assignment for Styles & Concepts, featuring Michael Ende's The NeverEnding Story.

And lastly, more work for my goblin story!

Weekly Update #2

Here some animal gesture sketches from the CCAD Weeklies sketch group meeting from last Friday!

...And some sketches I did while watching Cats Don't Dance! I especially loved Darla Dimple's expressions from the film.
