Toothless Street Painting

Last Friday I participated in the Lancaster Festival Artwalk, creating a Toothless street painting and exhibiting a few of my works.

I create a street dragon for every year for Artwalk and considering the release of the sequel, I figured this year would be the most appropriate time to create Toothless from Dreamworks' How to Train Your Dragon. I worked on him for two days, from morning to evening. Here is my progression from start to finish.

Lancaster Festival Artwalk 2013

The past three days were spent outside painting with pastel chalk on pavement. A few of my friends and I participated in Lancaster Festival's street painting event. I painting my lucky fortune cookie dragon.

Actually, he's not terribly lucky since the rain washed him away yesterday.
Here's some snapshots of my friends' work in progress.

I also had a small exhibit at the downtown AdamH building for the ArtWalk. It was a delight talking to art appreciators and other artists as well as admiring their displayed work.
