Summer Sketchbook #3

Third week update! Starting off with several "cutesy" Godzilla/Kaiju sketches after seeing the recent Godzilla film in theaters!

Also, I made a tribute to my favorite actor Jack McBrayer for his birthday on May 27th!

I did animal and gesture practice in watercolors for my drawing warmups.

Summer Sketchbook #2

Moving onto the second week of my summer sketchbook project!

Catdragons (influenced by Maine coon cats and Luck Dragons from The NeverEnding Story) for the CCAD Summer Sketch Group project. 

Sketches inspired by the works of South African photographer Nontsikelelo Veleko.  

 

Gesture practice with Pixelovely. 

Finally some additional sketches including practice for the next CCAD Summer Sketch prompt, "Props." I'm planning to design a camel teapot for it!

Finally wrapping up my junior year at CCAD! Here are some sketches for an amphibian version of The Jungle Book for a class assignment with Baloo as a bullfrog and Mowgli as a crane chick!
