For my event project in Storyboard I based my scene on my personal experiences with living with divorced parents, going back and forth between their houses for weekends.
I didn't want to illustrate living between divorced parents as tragic, but give it a more positive outlook than a negative one. Divorce is bittersweet, but the bitterness of it shouldn't be the main focus.
Here are several practice sketches on the car and father design.
Here is the first draft of the storyboard.

Fille de Dynamite
"Vous etes une fille de dynamite! You are one dynamite gal!"
Played around and made fanart again, this time featuring characters Fix-It Felix, Jr. and Sgt. Calhoun from Disney's Wreck-It Ralph. I loosely based it off of Alphonse Mucha's Flirt.

rub rub rub
I've always had this bad habit of rubbing my eyes whenever I'm tired or frustrated. Once I start rubbing them, it's difficult to stop.

Wanderin' Over Yonderin'
Being a big fan of Craig McCracken, Jack McBrayer and other big names involved in the production, it's no shocker that I'm really excited about the upcoming animated series Wander Over Yonder. Jack McBrayer definitely has a knack for playing the happy-go-lucky good-doer, especially in his role as Kenneth the Page from 30 Rock.
I can only express my excitement by drawing some (original and "humanized") Wanders quoting Kenneth.
